
A Support Plan may also be developed if required. This will address any support issues and will, in conjunction with you, set out strategies to assist you and staff to deal with specific situations.
After the initial Employment Assistance Plan there will an annual Employment Development Plan (EDP) meeting involving you, an advocate - a friend or family member if you wish, your Supervisor and the Human Services Manager. The achievements of the previous year will be discussed and new goals set for the coming year. This plan will be reviewed in six months by you and your Supervisor.
Wages
Your starting wage will be confirmed in your letter of offer and will be reviewed in line with the current award, or wage agreement. Wages will be paid in accordance with the requirement of the Industrial Commission and the Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs (FaHCSIA) under Section 9.1 in the Quality Assurance System.
Transport
You will be responsible for organising and paying for your own transport to and from work. Your hours at work can be flexible and will be negotiated with you prior to starting work. These will be reviewed during the annual Employment Development Plan Meeting.
